Introduction to the Cabinet
● The XY Series High-Voltage Solid-State Soft Starter is a high-voltage motor soft-start device designed with a cutting-edge concept. It serves as a standard motor starting and protection unit, specifically engineered to control and safeguard high-voltage AC motors. The device primarily consists of the following components: a vacuum contactor, thyristor modules, thyristor protection units, pulse triggering components, and a microcomputer-based soft-start controller (which includes signal acquisition and protection modules, as well as system control and display functions).
Technical Features
● · Sampled SCR valve modules in series with dual-power supply triggering technology;
· Drive and data acquisition utilize fiber-optic communication multiplexing technology.
● The touch-screen human-machine interface system provides real-time monitoring of system status, collects valve group data (such as RC average voltage and RC peak voltage), and allows for the modification or setting of system control parameters. Additionally, it employs a synchronized phase-locked loop along with a three-phase conduction compensation control algorithm.
● Protection features include: undervoltage, phase loss, overcurrent, overheating, thyristor overvoltage, start-up timeout, no-load condition, current imbalance, voltage imbalance, phase sequence protection, trigger failure, voltage balancing anomaly, RC current anomaly, thyristor malfunction, communication interruption, and abnormal trigger power supply—any of these detected will prevent the system from starting.
● Enabling remote software updates, debugging, data waveform monitoring, and fault diagnosis analysis via the INTERNET;
● By leveraging industrial Ethernet combined with 5G and connecting to a cloud server, we provide the foundation for big data analytics and related AI algorithms. This approach fully harnesses the computing power of the cloud platform, enabling real-time analysis and diagnostics of motor operating conditions, as well as early fault detection and optimized control strategies.
● Soft Start Function
● Strong load adaptability, featuring 3 startup control modes:
● ① Constant Current Start: During startup, the current rapidly increases to a set limit until the motor reaches full speed.
● ② Current ramp-up start: The current can gradually increase to the maximum starting current, continuing until the motor reaches full speed.
● ③ Pulse conflict start-up: Primarily used for heavy-duty loads.
● Optional free parking or soft parking feature: Suitable for various parking systems, such as eliminating water hammer effects in pumps and meeting specialized requirements.
