HXGN17-12 AC Metal-Enclosed Ring Main Unit Switchgear


The HXGN17-12 type AC metal-clad ring network switchgear (commonly referred to as a ring main unit) is designed with load switches, load switch-circuit breaker combinations, or vacuum circuit breakers. It is suitable for 50Hz, 12kV three-phase AC distribution systems and is widely used in industrial, mining, enterprise, public facilities such as high-rise buildings, and other commercial applications. This equipment serves as either a ring network power supply solution or as part of a user substation, providing functions for receiving, distributing, controlling electrical energy, and protecting connected electrical devices.

Structural Features
The ring main unit enclosure is constructed by assembling 8MF-profile components, including a basic frame, top plate, front panel, and side panels, to form a closed structure.
The main switch uses a combination of an air-blast load switch or vacuum load switch paired with its associated fuse, while the overall dimensions of the switchgear can remain largely unchanged.
Equipped with comprehensive electrical misoperation prevention devices, meeting the "Five Protections" requirements.

Small in external dimensions and requires minimal space.
