Synchronous Generator Excitation Panel
Category:
The XY-WLT6200 microcomputer excitation panel is suitable for various excitation systems used in large, medium, and small synchronous generator sets. It is typically applied in self-excited and self-restored thyristor-based excitation systems. The panel features functions such as zero-voltage startup of the generator, grid synchronization, phase adjustment, PSS (Power System Stabilizer), reactive power load control (both increasing and decreasing), and inverter-based shutdown. Configurations include single-unit/single-bridge/single-panel setups, dual-unit/single-bridge/single-panel setups, dual-unit/dual-bridge/two-panel setups (consisting of a regulator panel and a power field suppression panel), and dual-unit/dual-bridge/three-panel setups (featuring a regulator panel, a power rectifier panel, and a field suppression panel).

Introduction to Cabinet Displays
● The XY-WLT6200 microcomputer excitation panel is suitable for various excitation systems used in large, medium, and small synchronous generator sets, typically applied in self-excited, self-recovery thyristor-based excitation systems. It features functions such as zero-voltage startup of the generator, grid synchronization, phase adjustment, PSS (Power System Stabilizer), reactive power load control (both increasing and decreasing), and inverter-based shutdown. The panel can be configured in several setups: single unit with a single bridge on one panel, two units sharing a single bridge on one panel, or two units each equipped with a dual bridge across two separate panels (consisting of a regulator panel and a power field suppression panel). Additionally, it supports a three-panel configuration for two units, featuring a regulator panel, a power rectifier panel, and a field suppression panel.
Technical Features
● Utilizing a 32-bit floating-point DSP processor from Texas Instruments (TI) in the U.S., this system employs a PID + PSS control algorithm, features a multi-channel redundancy architecture, and enables manual/automatic fault switchover between primary and secondary channels.
● It offers multiple operating modes, including test-based excitation startup, as well as automatic constant-voltage, constant-current, constant-reactive-power, and constant-power-factor operations.
● All operating parameters are displayed online, and control parameters can be modified on the spot.
● It features automatic diagnostics, automatic tracking, fault recording, and test analysis capabilities, and is equipped with CANBUS or RS232/RS485, as well as Ethernet (TCP/IP) interfaces, enabling seamless communication and monitoring between PCs or multi-layered distributed computer systems.
● Equipped with a 10.4-inch touchscreen display, the control parameters can be adjusted online, and it features remote monitoring via a dedicated mobile app.
