Release time:2022-09-05
It’s September—the crisp autumn breeze is already carrying a refreshing coolness. At 9:00 a.m. on September 3, the bustling multi-purpose hall on the seventh floor of Xingyi Technology Group buzzed with energy as the much-anticipated Chu-Shang Lecture Series kicked off. Organized by the Hubei Provincial Chu Shang Federation and hosted by Xingyi Technology Group, the event was in full swing. Cheng Aifen, Executive Secretary-General of the Chu Shang Federation, and Wang Jinbin, Chairman of Xingyi Technology Group, attended the event and delivered welcoming speeches. Over 200 distinguished guests were present, including general managers from several member companies of the Chu Shang Federation, along with marketing, entrepreneurial, and management elites from across the industry.
This lecture, titled "Be Your Best Self," will be delivered by Zhang Mingyang, Vice President of the Chu Business Industry Development Research Institute and a nationally certified senior entrepreneurship mentor. Mr. Zhang has been frequently invited to give lectures at institutions such as Wuhan City Vocational College and Wuhan Institute of Engineering, where he has consistently earned high praise from his audiences. His acclaimed books—including "Managing Through the Four Great Classical Novels," "The Complete Guide to Leadership and Management Practice," and "Identifying Business Opportunities and Selecting Entrepreneurial Ventures"—are now housed in the provincial library.
Teacher Zhang used the perspectives of work ethic and social interactions as entry points to share valuable insights on how to recognize your true self, refine yourself, and authentically live your life—both at work and in everyday situations. When discussing how to cultivate a strong work ethic, he highlighted six powerful strategies: passion, decisiveness, diligence, attention to detail, perseverance, and dedication. To illustrate the benefits of staying decisive in life, he drew inspiration from Chen Xingjia’s graceful decision to step away from his previous role. Meanwhile, when exploring ways to maintain a committed and敬业精神 (dedicated work ethic), he referenced the remarkable success of Andy Lau’s highly acclaimed concert series, emphasizing how such dedication plays a crucial role in driving personal growth and career achievement. With clear explanations and relatable examples, Teacher Zhang skillfully connected theory with real-life scenarios, guiding his audience thoughtfully and persuasively. Attendees listened intently, fully absorbed in the session, deeply reflecting on the profound lessons shared throughout the lecture.
Amid enthusiastic applause, the 24th session of the Chu Business Lecture Series came to a successful close. The lecture was packed with insightful content, rich in real-world examples and profound philosophical reflections, earning continuous rounds of applause from the attendees. As the first joint event organized by the Chu Business Association and Xingyi, this lecture series took on even greater significance—providing participants with valuable knowledge while also fostering a vital platform for businesses to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas. Ultimately, it played a crucial role in facilitating the effective integration and utilization of each company’s unique strengths and resources.
